ASMEGA owns various and different systems for commanding, controlling, managing plants.
Whenever a new plant is designed, its final direction relates to both an evaluation of the customer’s present needs, as well as consideration of possibilities for the future.
In every instance, Asmega searches for a solution that will be the most flexible and most easily managed by our Customer.
Wet processing systems include plant automation that can be full or semi-automatic.
Typically, these control systems are based on Siemens PLCs of the S7 family with supervising screens based on Siemens WinCC software, although we are able to work with other major suppliers such as Allen-Bradley, etc.
To maximize flexibility and productivity, a “multiple programming software “ is integrated into the main process program; allowing different cycles and dwell times to be run concurrently.
The advanced control scheduling system can calculate an order for handling workbars that will optimize the line’s capacity. Plants must be flexible and, at the same time, able to achieve a medium-high productivity.
With the advanced, optimization system, it is possible:
- to prepare “time-oriented” sequences for predetermined treatment cycles
- to visualize the cycles being integrated, and modify these, if required.
To achieve the most hoist efficiency, Asmega systems include either absolute encoders, infra-red or laser positioning systems. In this way, hoist speed control can factor where the hoist is at any moment, and apply ramps and speed curves that guarantee positioning precision, time gain and smooth hoist motions.
To certify production the control system records all technical process data and compares this to the set values. It is relatively easy to receive reports, or to store data on various databases, that can be read by external servers.
To assure fast and efficient technical service, the system has auto-diagnosis screens which help users to determine the cause of potential failures, and their degree of criticality. An optional, modem-based, tele-service system can be provided.
